by Gayle Frankovich
Gayle Frankovitch is watercolorist at heart and developed a technique to use watercolor as a medium on canvas. Her work has been showcased in galleries in Michigan, New York and Illinois, as well as on the Internet. Ms. Frankovitch's first love is watercolor; however, she experiments with many mediums and from small scale to mural size. Her work has been described as serene and dreamy to whimsical and fun. Ms. Frankovitch also does freelance work, illustrating greeting cards that can be found in national and international chain stores. Ms. Frankovitch's friend and now business partner, Mary Beth Magee, started Adare Greetings, which features fine art greeting cards and gifts that are unique and whimsical.
The piece presented here was part of a series of four Asian style panel studies, commissioned for a large home in Brooklyn, New York.
