Fabulous Females

Andi Miller is a college English instructor, editor, writer, literary critic, and scholar. She founded and currently co-edits the literary e-zine, Estella’s Revenge and writes a weekly column for BiblioBuffet called “The Finicky Reader.” Her book reviews appear in various venues such as PopMatters.com and Altar Magazine. Her first scholarly piece, a profile of Bill Willingham’s Fables comics series, appeared in the Fall 2007 issue of the journal of the Society for the Study of Multi-Ethnic Literature of the United States (MELUS). She is a member of the National Book Critics Circle (NBCC).

Andi’s most enduring passion is a deep love of teaching, and her ultimate goal is to use literature and writing as a vehicle to impress upon her students the importance of social critique and critical thinking.

When she’s not neck-deep in books, Andi enjoys blogging, cooking, travel, multi-position power naps, and watching TLC’s What Not to Wear.
