Della Donna Recommends:

Read our interview with
author Susan Campbell.

Read our interview with
author Rivka Solomon.

Read our interview with
author Beverly Donofrio.

SUBMISSIONS:

Political or social issue

One that is of importance to women.

Lifestyle

Being a working woman, a soccer mom, or anything in between - the trials and joys.

Spirituality

This could be mainstream religion to New Age stuff. Why you love it, why you hate it... the possibilities are endless.

Health/beauty

This magazine is pro-woman. Hence, I am not looking for articles on how to fit into a size 0, hairstyles that he will die for, or anything of that nature. If you choose to write about beauty, I would prefer personal pieces on why someone you know (or yourself) is an unconventional beauty, why you value your curves, etc.

Anecdotes

If you have a funny story about work, dating, or anything, send it our way.

Literature

Poems/short stories.

Artwork

Graphic design, scanned artwork, etc. are welcome.

Please keep submissions to 1,000 words or less. I ask for one-time rights to publish your work on this site. The rights to your work remains yours, to publish elsewhere as you please. Please e-mail your first and last name, your submission, and the area in which you think it will fit to della.donna.zine@gmail.com.

*Men, feel free to submit as well, so long as your piece is about women or women's issues.
